Mary Helen Lee has been in private practice as an acupuncturist and herbalist since 1992 in Chicago at her clinic White Moon Healing Center. Prior work locations include The Northside HIV Treatment Center, Chicago Center for Psychophysical Healing, and Cook County Hospital Pain Clinic.

Conan Milner has worked as the clinic and apothecary manager for White Moon Healing Center since 1998. He has also been a health journalist since 2014, exploring topics such as Chinese medicine, nutrition, exercise, meditation, and the health impacts of GMOs and EMF radiation.

Green Medicine Acupuncture and Apothecary builds on over 30 years of clinical practice and experience with thousands of patients in Chicago, and brings it to Shelby Township. Like our clinic in Chicago, we have created a beautiful healing environment you can visit in our home by appointment.

Our colorful space features aromatherapy, full-spectrum lighting, flowering plants, stained glass, relaxing music, crystals, and a vintage vibe. Go back in time to the days when people visited the physician in their home, and learned the fundamental habits of a healthy lifestyle, nutrition, and plant-based remedies.

Mary Helen practices holistically, treating the whole person, not just individual symptoms. She offers traditional Chinese medicine treatments, including acupuncture, cupping and guasha, and individually prescribed herbal formulae.

Our unique apothecary includes over 150 herbal tinctures handmade from organic and wildcrafted Chinese, Western, and Ayurvedic herbs, extracted with organic cane alcohol. We have created over 90 formulas, and custom blend as needed. We also carry high quality nutritional supplements, essential oils, flower essences, and homeopathic remedies.
